This garden is situated south of the house on a very steep slope. The garden is divided into three different areas and spheres. The main terrace with the pool and a shady dining zone are situated in front of the house. About 2m below another terrace is covered with gravel under a canopy of trees (Albizzia) with a high hedge on the poolside. This part is thereby visually disconnected from the house and the pool. From here you have a beautiful view on the lower garden and towards the countryside. Some steps go down into the sloped lower garden with a big variety of Mediterranean shrubs and flowers giving color almost all year round.

This garden is situated within an old olive grove. The house is in the centre of the garden and has different zones that surround it. The upper part of the garden is a natural garden with native plants underneath the olive trees. In front of the house there is a terrace area with an elevated patio of orange trees and BBQ zone. Next to it is the long and narrow pool with a wooden deck and a bridge for access. At the other side of the bridge is a fish pond. At the back of the house a renovated garden that is not yet planted (Corona virus).

On this large site there already was a Villa with pool and garden, a parking lot and an apartment for visitors. The aim was to connect these different elements in order to redirect the visitor from the entrance gate to the parking area instead of directly to the house. Once parked, you have a walkway and stairs towards the main entrance of the house as well a walkway towards the apartment. The vegetationn used is all Mediterranean trees and shrubs. The driveway is gravel delimited by a border of Corten steel. The final result is a very natural setting.

I designed this public park in the province of Seville. The design was implemented by students of various technical disciplines. They participated in the construction of the various elements (paving, plumbing, electricity and planting), under my direct supervision. The additional features including the benches were designed by me. Students of metal works carried out the design. The result of this educational project is a spacious park with a central circular plaza and another two circles. One of these is dedicated to elderly people with Petanque lanes. The other area is a playground for

children. The decidious trees of the park give a lot of shade in the hot summers and sun in winter and spring.

This existing large private garden was in an abandoned state but had a nice structure. The mature trees and palms were integrated into the new design, although some of them had to be cut to obtain more light. The main corridor of the garden was accentuated by planting cypress trees along its borders. The exising division in large terraces was accentuated by hedges on the outer borders, creating different spaces. The entrance to the garden and the front of the house got its own identity with another hedge, focusing the view towards the French stairway and the nice facade of the house. A good example of a renovated garden using mainly the original structure and the beautiful old trees.

This garden is still in contruction. The environment, inner courtyards and stockyard of a large country house have to be designed. The aim is to maintain the rural aspect of the exising landscape adding a large swimming pool with terrace next to the building. An inner areas and patios will be designed as well. There will be a contrast of a formal design inside the walled area and a natural approach of the space around.
